Here you are Protected
Debit card fraud is on the rise in the United States – jumping 70% in 2016, with non-bank ATMs and hacked Point-of-Sale devices posing the largest risk to consumers.
smsGuardian monitors all your debit card purchases, and sends you text messages regarding activity on your card. If you receive a text about a fraudulent transaction, you can reply immediately and your card will be blocked from further criminal activity.
smsGuardian is available to all Country Bank debit cardholders, but you must register your card (or cards).
Here’s how it works
After signing up for smsGuardian, you will begin receiving text messages regarding activity on your ATM and debit cards. If you receive a text about a transaction that you believe is fraudulent, you can reply immediately and your card will be blocked from further suspicious activity. If you receive this message and you know the purchase is legitimate, you don’t need to do anything.
To ensure your security, enrollments are good for one year – You will be notified prior to expiration of your Guardian account and may text a reply to renew.
